Music Review Episode. We discuss the new album “Light It Up” by Hot Water Music and “Material Control” from Glassjaw. We also chat about other music we’ve been listening to: the new Quicksand album, Headlines, Running in Place Records, Dark Black, Moon Blood, Deer Hunter, The Used, Light Years, Cannibal Corpse, The Faceless, Prawn, and Sean’s band Dullside.
We are joined by our best buddies Mark and Dave. We talk about our favorite albums from 2001-2002. We also started recording this after 11 o’clock at night after a previous night of about 4 hours of sleep or less. This led to not only some fun nostalgic talks about music but about friendship in general. It goes a little long, but it sounded better as one episode rather than splitting it up. Dave lets us know who he can and can’t beat up in music. Some great stories happen such as mark’s scooter ride to jail, desert llamas, peep shows, and more. Dave runs out of picks and just grabs random albums from the internet. Enjoy. Here is a Spotify Playlist of songs from the albums we discuss.
